Are you ready for Amherst's Big Give?

We need volunteers to help with this event as it will be one of the biggest events we have ever run! 

Donations of household items in good condition will be collected June 3-7.

Also, make sure you are around on Sunday June 2nd for Pastor Sheryl's final Sunday and a celebration following the service!

1. We had a successful Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday night, and I was very encouraged by the questions asked, the unity of those in attendance, and the passion of our ministry leaders.

2. We ended the year with money in our account, our mortgage/roof loan is under $80 000 now, and God continues to prove to me that He will provide for this ministry.

3. As Dwayne prepares to step down from leading the Building Team he is finding more and more people who are willing to tackle projects, give of their time and expertise, and get things done!

With all the pressure we face today from all different directions in life, is it time to give up on the mission of Christ? Is it needed anymore? Are we the ones that need to be investing in it? Is it just too costly to keep going with it?  The New Testament Apostles knew those questions 2000 years ago and made what they thought emphatically clear.

2 Timothy 3:1-4:5

If we quit the mission, we lose.

Stronger Together - how to effectively support each other in times of need - Sat May 18th, 9am-Noon

Suicide Awareness - how you, as an ordinary person, can play a simple part in saving a life - Sat May 25th, 9am-Noon

Everything must go, for FREE! It's like a yardsale, but everything is free and in decent condition!

Donations can be dropped off at the church starting June 2nd until 7th. The event will run 8-Noon with a FREE BBQ.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
