Just a couple quick notes here:

Youth is having their final gathering of 2024 tonight, and then they will be on break for a couple weeks.  They will start meeting again on Jan 10th.

English as a Second Language will start meeting again on Jan 6th.

Konnect Play, our mid-week program, will start up again on Jan 8th.

Finally, be sure to join us on Christmas Eve at either 5pm or 6:30pm.

1. Our Kids Christmas Pageant was a huge hit! About 40 kids participated in a production that pointed people to Jesus and I heard from many people how impressed they were with the kids! Plus we had about 200 people total in our building during that service!

2. The Christmas Wrap-Up saw a number of generous projects take place, and it was really remarkable to see how God provided so we only needed to spend $20 from our regular funds to cover the costs, the rest came from special donations! With that, it was inspiring to watch people provide gifts for those in need out of their own income, and I even heard that one couple chose not to exchange gifts this year but instead to spend their money on providing for a family in need!

3. We have started recording more video content from our regular services and have started increasing our social media presence, all through the work of the people in our church, not the staff, and that has already been gaining a lot of traction!

Amherst Celebrates Christmas Eve at Amherst Wesleyan Church

Services at 5pm & 6:30pm

Special Music, Classic Christmas Carols, Snacks & Glow Sticks for the Kids, a Dramatic Presentation, a Candle-Light Closing, and all in 45 minutes or less (Or your money back! Jk, it’s free.)

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)

Mondays at 7pm

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development.
