Your prayers are moving things. Don't stop! God is listening and answering. Be sure to listen to His response.

This isn't about making our lives easier, or getting our way, it is about taking back what the enemy has stolen and building the Kingdom of God. 

And boy howdy, the enemy is losing ground! Don't stop. Don't quit. Don't give up. Keep pushing. Keep driving. Now is not the time to back off. Lean in.

Your prayers have already moved things!

1. We have the apartment rented now!

2. Someone approached me about covering part of the cost and doing some of the labour for the second washroom in the church lobby!

3. I witnessed a group of our men this week living like Jesus, encouraging others and living out compassion, generosity, wisdom, gentleness, humility, courage, honesty, leadership and initiative! 

Elijah and Jesus both went through a lot of hard things in their lives, but they both reacted differently to them. Then, after Elijah became overwhelmed by depression and fear, He finally discovered what would heal and direct His emotions; hearing from God. It was talking to God that saved Elijah, and it was talking to God that kept Jesus steady.

Luke 5:16

Healthier emotions are the result of more honest conversations with God.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development. 

For kids in Grades Primary to 6

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)
