Vision
So, the past two weeks the newsletter didn't go out because of an error with our tech. There was some great content in there so I sent them out yesterday. Things should be working properly now. I attended a seminar this week and was told that there are 4 well-known torture techniques that are the most effective: Dehydration, Sleep Deprivation, Malnutrition and Isolation. The crazy thing is that when we get stressed or overwhelmed we often stop drinking water, have poor sleep cycles, eat junk food or nothing at all and avoid other people. We actually torture ourselves in those situations. What we actually need to do is the opposite. We need to drink more water, get better sleep, eat healthy food and invest in positive social connections. They also shared there were three more things we need to help with stress: Movement, Nature and Breathing. God cares about your heart, soul, mind and strength. Try investing in these seven things and see how God uses them to strengthen you.

Wins
1. Another person got saved this week because the Holy Spirit was doing so much work in someone around them! 2. Soul's Harbour held some interviews this week, and they are getting closer and closer to opening their site here at AWC. 3. Sunday's message hit quite a few people and left them with stuff to think about and with a feeling of hope and acceptance. I had a bunch of people speak to me about how God spoke to them through that service! |

The Physical MindIt's Fine, I'm Fine - Sunday, February 23, 2025 Often we try to over-spiritualize things. Sometimes we think the physical has no effect on our spiritual life and no effect on our mental life. The reality though is that we need to engage our heart, soul, mind and strength to find true health. They influence each other. Our physical lives affect our mental life. And God cares about our physical life. Psalm 121:1-2 Remember where your strength comes from. For more infomation visit: http://amherstwesleyan.com/media/2025-02-23-the-physical-mind
