Good Friday is coming up! We have a young person ready to get baptized that day, but we are hoping to find more people who God has been speaking to about getting baptized. 

Baptism is an outward sign of what God has done on the inside of you. It declares to those around you that you have died and live in Jesus now. Your old life is gone and your new life is here. It says to everyone there that you are done with your old life and are all in with Jesus.

Jesus told us to get baptized and when we are obedient to His commands it does something incredible in us. Every step of faith we take puts us closer to God and getting baptized is an important step of faith to take that allows God to work even more in our lives. 

Baptism doesn't save you. Jesus saves you. But He told us to get baptized and when we do, He does something extra in us too.

1. God is multiplying our resources! You gotta be here on Sunday to get an update on our financial situation, and you don't want to miss it.

2. I had a pastor from another denomination in town here reach out to me and ask how they can financially support us to make sure that Brad stays on staff!

3. I had someone call this week about attending our church because AWC was recommended to her and when she saw the jokes on our website it really helped her feel comfortable about the idea of attending!

4. We had 11 or 12 men from AWC attend the XY conference in Moncton last weekend and not only were they hyped during the conference, many of them have been hyped all week since! They are already talking about attending next year and have started recruiting other men to attend with them!!!!

5. Soul's Harbour is now operational at AWC!

You may feel like you are a good person, and when you look around you can see a lot of good people there too. True, there are a lot of jerks around us, but you see a lot of good people too. Sometimes we even ignore some things because we want to be positive and think the best of others. But, is good all that we need?

Families are invited to join us for a “Journey with Jesus”. You will have a fun and engaging experience and gain a deeper appreciation for the true meaning of Easter. It is a 5-rotation event that invites families into the events of the Easter story through Bible teachings and interactive activities. Your family will come away with a better understanding of why we celebrate this holiday and what it represents

A night of worship. Songs, Prayer, and creative elements will be used to set aside time to simply focus on God and give Him glory.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)
