Vision
Many years ago I was really struggling with the idea that some people in the world had all the money and others were left without what they need, and I had the thought that if the wealth was better distributed then all our problems would go away. But then I was faced with the problem that there are many situations in our world where people have access to the money they need, but their lives are still a mess. There have been a lot of problems that we tried throwing money at, and it doesn't solve anything. So, what did that mean? It was then that I discovered a principle that I have tried to keep in mind ever since. Money doesn't change the world; obedience does. When we are obedient to God, things change. When we do what God calls us to do, things change. When we take steps of faith to follow God, things change. When we give what God asks us to give, things change. It isn't the money that results in the real change. God can do more with the little we have, than we can do with all the money in the world. When we are disobedient, we are stunted, if not flat-out disconnected from the favour of God. We need to obey God with everything in our lives, even our money. The amount you give won't change the world; being obedient to God will.

Wins
1. I can now confirm that we have the funds necessary to keep Pastor Brad on until at least the end of May! This is a great step in the right direction. 2. I had so many positive conversations about the message on Sunday (which if you missed it, you should click on the podcast link below) and how God was stirring in hearts even before I spoke. 3. I've had at least three conversations this week about how people in our church are sharing their faith with others and trying to use their jobs and hobbies to show Jesus to those around them! |
Pinching PenniesSunday, March 23, 2025 We are facing some pretty hard financial times personally and as a church. The Bible has some pretty clear stories about these situations too though, and how we are supposed to get through these circumstances is quite a bit different than how we normally try to handle them. God's way is better though. It's a scary step of faith to take, but God's way is better. 1 Kings 17:8-16 God won't multiply it if you don't give it to Him. XY Men's ConferenceApril 4-5 Pastor Brent Ingersol says this about XY: This year, we’re thrilled to be once again partnering with Tidal Church in Moncton to make the conference more accessible and impactful than ever before. We’re expecting and believing for over 1,000 men from across Atlantic Canada, Ontario, and Maine to gather for a time of worship, growth, and breakthrough. This isn’t just another event—it’s a moment for men to be challenged, encouraged, and equipped to lead in their homes, churches, and communities. I believe what happens here will ripple out to bless families, churches, and entire regions. For more infomation visit:
