Vision
I realized this week that there are a number of families who aren't even on my connection list yet because they either haven't filled out a connection card or have been primarily connected to Kids Ministry. Plus, we simply have a lot of newer families in our church. So, we will be having a drop-in Coffee and Crayons time on Saturday March 1st at the church for anyone to drop by and connect with the pastors. There will be coffee ready, and we will meet in the basement so families can come with their kids and let them play and run around the space. Everyone is welcome, and you can feel free to come for as long or as little as you want. We will be there from 9am-Noon. Keep praying. God is leading people to be generous and they are being obedient. And God is tugging on hearts and they are coming to Him. We're taking ground folks. Keep praying! Our Worship Night got postponed to this Sunday. Soul's Harbour has posted the two jobs for their Amherst location! You can find details and apply for the Drop In Manager or the Cook & Shift Supervisor by following these links.

Wins
1. We recently had someone reach out who has been wrestling with their faith and has decided they want to reconnect and refocus on being a disciple of Christ, and it is through their initiative, not the pastors begging them to come back or guilting them into it! 2. At least one young person has already started asking about getting baptized on Good Friday! 3. More people are being set up with mentors, thanks to Pastor Brad who has recently taken on the task from Pastor Evan! 4. Also, Pastor Brad has been working to get a snow clearing team set up, and they are already in place and serving, and they are crazy hard workers! 5. We have the money to get most of the new washroom done and our guys have started working on it! We even had a large donation come in from someone outside our church! 6. Our Kids Ministry held their annual Glow Party on Sunday with a great turnout of kids and even a bunch of new kids! |

Trusting GodIt's Fine, I'm Fine - Sunday, February 16, 2025 This whole series is built upon the idea that mental health comes from health in your heart, soul, mind and strength. Not just one part will do. You need it from all four areas. That being said, one of the key components that produces mental health is trust. That's mainly a mind thing, and it won't make all your mental health struggles go away, but without it, it can give a whole lot of power to those struggles. We have clear examples in the Bible of people who struggled to trust God and found their mental health spiraling. Then when we see Jesus trusting God, even in the hard situations, those struggles don't get to control Him. 1 Peter 5:7 The more you trust God, the less power mental illness will have over you.
