Welcome to 2025!

10 days in and things are already heating up! None of it is a surprise to God, and none of it will stop Him from completing His mission. Don't let the chaos of this world tear you down. God is big enough to walk on the water through the storm, and make you walk on the water with Him!

Let's join Him in the mission and start this year off with focused prayer. Below you will find information about a 24 Hour Prayer Event. This is an event being shared by a number of churches, and the goal is to cover our area in prayer and push back the work of the enemy. I hope you will sign up for this event and help us get 24 hours of prayer!

1. Christmas Eve we had about 200 people join us over the two services, and our team did an incredible job with both services.

2. There was a fantastic response to the Soul's Harbour presentation a couple weeks ago, and we are getting really excited to start working with this ministry.

3. Just this week I heard from a couple different men how they are intentionally using their social connections to share the love of Jesus. Their social lives and activities aren't taking away from their "faith time," they are finding ways to inject their faith into their connections outside the church! They are going out to find the lost where they are!

We all want good things for our lives and the lives of those around us, but we are also surrounded by situations that seem like they can be solved, or just made easier, by compromising. We think a simple lie, a little greed, a touch of hate or bitterness, or whatever will help us get ahead just enough, but it doesn't work. It's like cleaning a window with dirty water.

Doing it the better way gives you better results.

A night of worship. Songs, Prayer, and creative elements will be used to set aside time to simply focus on God and give Him glory.

We invite you to join us, to gather together as the Body of Christ, in prayer for our area!

This will be a 24-Hour prayer vigil event, hosted at the Amherst Wesleyan Church, for churches in the
region to come together to pray in unity for our geographical location – to push back against the work
for the enemy and strongholds in our region.

The 24-Hr period will be divided into 1-Hr time slots - you can sign up on the provided sign-up sheets
for one slot or more if you feel led to do so! The objective is to have the full 24 hrs covered in shifts of
united prayer.

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)

Mondays at 7pm

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Join us at the West Highlands Elementary Gymnasium for games and lessons designed to help kids grow in their confidence and character development.
