Vision
We have a number of Small Groups that meet on a regular basis. These groups serve to help you learn about the Bible and faith, support you in your journey, and build friendships with people who will help fill you up. One the of major challenges people have had with finding a Small Group has been the chaos of life's schedule. I'd like to highlight one group in particular that you should consider joining if you haven't been able to find a group that normally works with your schedule. We have a group that happens every other Sunday afternoon. It happens at the church and there is space for you to bring your lunch and your whole family if you want to (or need to). Especially if you have messy schedules during the week, but have some freedom on Sundays, you should consider joining this group. Their next meeting is Sunday April 21st. |
Wins
1. More people are taking the initiative to seek out ways to volunteer and serve! 2. The Overcomers ministry team is moving ahead and taking the lead for the future of the ministry. 3. People aren't shying away from the hard conversations and changes that need to be made in their lives. There's a new willingness to make holiness their priority. |
When Your Enemies Get PunishedFrom Now On... - Sunday, April 7, 2024 It is a very natural response to celebrate when your enemies get what they deserve. The sense of justice is very nice and it makes you feel vindicated. And sometimes when we are facing pain, we anxiously wait for our enemies to be in pain too. Yet, these reactions don't seem to fit with what God desires. Even though justice can be a very good thing, God wants to give mercy more than justice. And God wants us to react differently too. Let God handle everyone else; You need to just focus on what God is trying to tell you.
