It is easy to get distracted by life, good and bad. Sometimes we focus so much on some things that we leave ourselves open to attack somewhere else. Other times we feel so confident it actually makes us arrogant and open to attack. Peter gives the church a hard warning, pointing out that the enemy is still out there, and even though we have the victory in Christ, the enemy is still on the prowl.
