We have seen some pretty big storms in the past few years and seen pictures of homes or businesses collapsing due to coastal errosion and even being washed out to sea. They may have been well built, but what they were built on was suscetible to the wind and the waves. We often come up with ideas at the beginning of the year of things we should work on to be better, but those things are usually things that are susceptible to the wind and waves of life. Jesus gives us a clear statement of how to avoid collapse, and it has to do with our foundations.
Matthew 7:24-27
What you build your life on has to be stable enough to support your life throughout your life.
