A new start, a new way, a new heart... something we could all use. Our pasts, our strategies, our natural responses seem to always get in the way and beat us down over and over again. The festival of firstfruits though is a celebration of how God can take us from the wilderness and bring us into the promised land, and He deserves the first of the harvest. The promised land is actually the victory of Jesus over death, and He got to have the first taste of it! Now that harvest is available to us. A new life, a new heart, a new way, a new start!
