I have been talking to the Wesleyan church in Truro, where Pastor Sheryl is currently serving. Their Board have decided that they would like me to lead them and the Amherst church at the same time. I was there this Sunday morning to preach and connect with them. If the conregagtion votes next Sunday that they would like me to be their Lead Pastor, I will be leading both churches. No, I am not leaving AWC, and I am not leaving Amherst. I may just be adding a new element to my responsibilities. Please be praying that things continue to go well.

If they vote me in, I hope to hire a pastor to manage things in Truro as their main responsibility, though Brad and I will be involved there at times.  There is lots to figure out and pray about.

1. That set of worship songs this past Sunday was created without knowledge of the sermon content, and several weeks in advance.

2. What Heidi said during the time of worship was something God told her to say earlier that week, without knowing what the sermon was about!

3. We got the money from the Town for the chairlift!

We all know the feeling of being lost, and for most people it feels like we are all on our own trying to figure out what we should be doing next. We assume that God doesn't actually speak to people, or that we aren't good enough for Him to speak to us. Maybe He is too busy to talk to us. So we feel even more lost and alone. I don't think that's how it actually works though!

You don't need to make God speak, you just need to recognize Him when He does.

AWC's Annual Business Meeting where we review the past year, vote on certain leadership positions, and review the budget for the new business year.

Everything must go, for FREE! It's like a yardsale, but everything is free and in decent condition!

Konnect the Tots is a playgroup for parents and kids that takes place every Thursday from 9:30-11:30 at Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct). There are toys and activities set up in the basement of the church for kids to play with! Everyone is welcome! (Enter through the parking lot side door!)
