That service last Sunday was POWERFUL! The conversations that followed were amazing too! Not just the conversations I had with people, but the conversations I saw happening and heard about later that people had with those who had been baptized! It's hard to argue with a changed life, and it's hard to ignore a changed life. God has been working behind the scenes for a long time to set things up for this kind of victory. He's not done yet.
I've heard of another child, three teens and an adult who want to get baptized now.
One person who got baptized said to me that they had been speaking to people at a pub and sharing what God has been doing in his life and in this church. He told me that he wasn't pushing the Gospel on them, just sharing his experiences of God, and they are thinking about checking us out.
Yes, checking US out. We are the church. You are the church. Our community is watching you to see who Jesus is, and they are seeing Him.
