Also, we won't be doing the weekly newsletter over the summer months, though you may get the occasional special reminder email.

So, take a gander and see what's happening at AWC!

1. Pastor Brad told me that he dropped off invitations to EDGE YOUTH at the Middle School and had 8-10 grade 5 students show up with their only connection to AWC being those invites! God is pulling people to His Kingdom!!!!!

2. I had coffee with someone this week who has been on a crazy journey over the past few months, maybe one day they will share the story with all of you, and this person shared about how they were able to pray with their kid. The child responded by crying and said, "I just feel so full of the love of God!" Whoa! 

3. That Big Give was HUGE! I didn't get a count of people, and it doesn't even matter. I know we had a ton of people, and many of them just wanted to stick around. I saw sooo many people I had never seen before, and many of them would never of just come to AWC for a Sunday service. People found things they needed, people felt blessed, whole families got haircuts, and I was able to watch the relational walls of people just crumble away! It felt like everything we did was exactly what we needed to do to build bridges, and all the volunteers were absolutely INCREDIBLE!

When you have taken a step of faith to base your life on something you can't see, it can be very scary to admit it to others who haven't taken that step of faith. Their reactions can be hard, their questions can be scary, their rejection can be painful. We end up thinking that we will just avoid sharing our faith with others until we are ready for all of those things. We think we just need a bit more preparation. That isn't what Jesus thought though!

Matthew 9-10

It's more important that you start than be fully prepared.

A night of worship. Songs, Prayer, and creative elements will be used to set aside time to simply focus on God and give Him glory.

We will be participating in the Canada Day Celebration in Downtown Amherst this year!

It will take place 11am-3pm on July 1st.

Final Class is June 24th.

New Semester Starts Sept 9th!

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
