The Board and I are facing a bit of a conundrum presently. We need to make some decisions about the electrical and heating systems at the church. It is pretty clear we need to make a sizable investment in our electrical system ($15000-$20000). And it is clear we need to do something about our heating system, as our current boiler is becoming unreliable and short on available parts. A new boiler could cost anywhere from $20000-$50000, depending on what we get and how it is installed. Heat pumps would cost between $25000-$30000, and we would still need to use the boiler during the coldest months.

Please pray for wisdom in this matter, and for God to provide the resources necessary to cover these investments.

We need volunteers to help with Amherst's Big Give as it could be one of the biggest events we have ever run! 

Donations of household items in good condition will be collected June 3-7.

Also, make sure you are around on Sunday June 2nd for Pastor Sheryl's final Sunday and a celebration following the service!

1. One person got baptized on Sunday!!!!

2. The Holy Spirit was really moving on Sunday and I know the message impacted different people enough for them to reach out to tell me about it.

3. Someone shared with me recently how they had been going through a really frustrating situation and was feeling overwhelmed by it, then God began solving the problem and actually revealed that it was for her good that this was happening! God saw her and had it under control the whole time! A miraculous God at work!

Suicide Awareness - how you, as an ordinary person, can play a simple part in saving a life - Sat May 25th, 9am-Noon

Everything must go, for FREE! It's like a yardsale, but everything is free and in decent condition!

Donations can be dropped off at the church starting June 2nd until 7th. The event will run 8-Noon with a FREE BBQ.

Come learn English and about life in Canada. This is open to everyone. We want to make this course available to everyone regardless of their economic situation.

Do you need to get out of the house so you can talk to other adults? Do your kids need to get out of the house so they can play with other kids and have some space to run around?

Come check out our casual play group on Thursdays. There is no agenda and parents are responsible for their own children. Our basement space is a large open space and perfect for letting kids run and play together!
